Therefore, stability issue is ensured via the Modified Pseudo-Inverse Method (MPIM). The proposed method allows the calculation of the gain matrix graphically through covering causal paths and loops based on the pole placement techniques for linear systems. The robust residuals are further generated from an uncertain bond graph model in linear fractional transformation (LFT) form so as to detect actuator faults in presence of parameter uncertainties. Simulation tests on a hydraulic system show the dynamic behavior of system variables and the robustness of the PI observers in the presence of modeling errors. The effectiveness of the proposed robust fault detection estimator is later illustrated via a DC motor. |

In this paper, we define a faulttolerant and QoS based network layer for security management of chemical products warehouse which can be classified as real-time and mission critical application. This application generate routine data packets and alert packets caused by unusual events which need a high reliability, short end to end delay and low packet loss rate constraints. After each node compute his hop count and build his neighbors table in the initialization phase, packets can be routed to the sink. We use FELGossiping protocol for routine data packets and node-disjoint multipath routing protocol for alert packets. Furthermore, we utilize the information gathering phase of FELGossiping to update the neighbors table and detect the failed nodes, and we adapt the network topology changes by rerun the initialization phase when chemical units were added or removed from the warehouse. Analysis shows that the network layer is energy efficient and can meet the QoS constraints of unusual events packets. |

Yet, its high energy consumption and its potential fault vulnerability still their major drawback. Both of these issues require the implementation of fault distributed detection methods, capable of distinguishing faulty nodes from normal ones while minimizing energy. Thus, several approaches are proposed to detect these distributed errors, mentioning the Bayesian approach insuring the best choice of a proper sensor neighbourhood size n for best fault detection as well the energy conservation. In this paper, we define an energy minimization algorithm based on the Bayesian approach which ensures preventive sensor nodes pre-deployment against faults distribution. The Bayesian approach represents a study oscillating between Theory of Signal Detection (TSD), fault tolerance and energy minimization by determining the optimal parameters required to achieve this fault tolerance detection. This method includes the error probability due to the sensor itself which is included in the fault detection scheme thus the network will be more accurate. The experimental simulations will join a perceptive study allowing to the best choice of algorithm inputs then we will prouve that the proposed algorithm is able to provide a better detection performance while optimizing energy in WSN. © 2013 IEEE. |

Résumé | Liens | BibTeX | Étiquettes: @article{Challouf201288, This paper presents a class of centralized and decentralized adaptive fault tolerant control (FTC) for N-interconnected subsystems which can make up a global system coupling. An integrated model for the combined dynamics of two interconnected subsystems is developed which provides an ideal frame work for the design of centralized and distributed FTC controllers. The additive FTC schemes obtained consist of an on-line estimation of faulty parameters for overall interconnected system and N-interconnected subsystems. Then, the estimated parameters are used to compute the feedback controller gains. The fault estimation and compensation is handled in this paper using the Singular Values Decomposition (SVD). Many strong points of the different architecture of FTC techniques are noted such as the possibility of making appropriate selection of control schemes based on specific representations (overall interconnected system/distributed N-subsystems coupling) of plant, as well as the facility of implementation by distributed processing FTC approach and some characteristics to realize improved performance of decentralized control. Numerical and simulation results are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed fault tolerant controls. © 2012 Praise Worthy Prize S.r.l. – All rights reserved. |
