Résumé | Liens | BibTeX | Étiquettes: @article{Hamidi2012452, The paper deals with the problems of robust stability for uncertain nonlinear polynomial systems. We consider the problem of the enlargement of the Robust Domain of Attraction (RDA). We propose a method to compute invariant subsets of the RDA for the asymptotically stable equilibrium point of polynomial systems. We use an optimization strategy based on Linear Matrix Inequality (LMI), to compute the RDA. The main contribution consists in a preliminary estimation of the general form of this region obtained by Trajectory Reversed Method (TRM) for all uncertain parameters. Moreover, an explicit determination of the RDA by using a parameterized Lyapunov Function is proposed. Such result is obtained by combined Threshold Accepting Algorithms (TAA) and LMI. An example is given to illustrate the efficiency of the proposed approach. © 2012 Praise Worthy Prize S.r.l. – All rights reserved. |

Résumé | Liens | BibTeX | Étiquettes: Adaptive control;Centralized control;Fault-Tolerant control(FTC);Large-scale system;Robust control;Sensor failure @inproceedings{6031217, In this present article a centralized structure of an adaptive method to solve the problem of robust and fault tolerant control (FTC) for large-scale system linear, continuous and time invariant (LTI), against defects sensors and external disturbances is proposed. This class of system contain N-interconnected subsystems. In fact, it operates one architecture for the direct adaptive method. This is a centralized feedback controller. It is assured by some adaptation laws which are proposed to estimate the unknown potential of sensors faults, disturbances and controller parameters Online. Then, a class of centralized controllers return state is constructed to automatically compensate for the effects of faults and external disturbances based on information extracted. An adaptive mechanism from a scheme where active fault tolerant system is exploited. The proposed techniques are finally evaluated in the light of a simulation for an overall interconnected system that can be decomposed into two subsystems coupling. |

The finite element method characterizes waves in the arbitrarily shaped discontinuities and the total response of the circuit is obtained by applying the modified multimodal variational formulation. The size of the scattering matrix of the total circuit depends only on the number of accessible modes in the beginning and the end of the overall structure. This feature makes the computation time of our hybrid method independent from distances between discontinuities of the circuit. The proposed hybrid method is successfully applied to the full-wave analysis of filters with great practical interest (i.e., multimode filters), thus improving computation time and memory storage against several full-wave finite element method based computer aided design tools. © 2011 IEEE. |

The study is based on the classical Pseud-Inverse Method PIM, used as an active fault tolerant control. A performance index dealing with the variation between the nominal dynamic and the faulty one is defined and computed for different post-fault time intervals. The indicated criterion, compared to a fixed admissi-bility limit, allows the determination of optimal detection and accommodation instants for recoverable faults either with or without accommodation. The main contribution, in this work, is the definition of conditions on the detection and accommodation times, so that the fault is recoverable with guaranteeing a tradeoff between the closeness of the faulty output to the nominal one and the requested control to accommodate the fault. © 2011 IEEE. |

Résumé | Liens | BibTeX | Étiquettes: Controllers; DC motors; Perturbation techniques, Process control @conference{Tahar2011, The multimodel and multicontrol approachs are two powerful techniques which are often useful in literature, to the analyse, the modeling and the control of complex systems. Indeed, the operating range of the process is partitioned into a set of operating regions. For each operation region a local model or/and controller is applied. The effective control applied to the process is a fusion of all these local control laws. In this paper, a multimodel H∞ Loop shaping controller (MM-HILSC) is designed and applied to a variably loaded DC motor. In order to use the system in variable load applications such as robot actuators, a multi-model controller is designed based on the H ∞ Loop shaping controllers (HILSC). Simulation results show a notable improvement relatively to the classical HILSC. The design controller is simplified by considering a reduced model obtained by decomposition of the global system into two time-scales singularly perturbed model of the DC motor. © 2011 IEEE. |

The first level of the procedure is triggered when the impact of the fault on the system performance is limited. The reconfigurable controller is updated by the new post-fault system model. At the second level a dynamic reference modification based on Reference Governor (RG) is proposed. Résumé | Liens | BibTeX | Étiquettes: @article{Boucetta20111, This study presents a development of a global fuzzy control scheme for the vibration suppression and the input tracking of a flexible single-link manipulator based on fuzzy logic theory and commutation strategy. A flexible single-link with a horizontal planar vibration is considered and then the dynamic model is derived using Lagrange’s equations and finite element method. To design the proposed global fuzzy controller, 2 separated mamdani fuzzy controllers are determined for the hub angle and the end-point residual loops. The control signal is the result of an auto-commutative takagi-sugeno fuzzy switcher that selects the adequate command to become the hub torque input. Simulation results of the global fuzzy controller are discussed in terms of level of vibration reduction, speed of response and trajectory tracking. © Medwell Journals, 2011. |
