Ultra Wide Band (UWB) technology seems a very promising solution. we developed a new small circular modified Microstrip antenna design to lift the bandwidth lock while maintaining a valued performance properties quality. This new antenna consists of a circular microstrip antenna with ring slot inscribed in a patch resonator and a modified partial ground plane with slots to form a single wide bandwidth. Indeed, we studied the performance of a patch antenna made of FR4epoxy substrates (20×20×1.57). The bandwidths range from [3.6 GHz; 4.9 GHz] for a width of 1.3 GHz and a band of [9.7 GHz; 26.7 GHz] of 17 GHz and for frequencies above 27.9 GHz the bandwidth is of the order of 7.2 GHz.
