This paper describes optically transparent solar patch antenna. To maximize the surface of use, we combine the antenna and the solar cell in the same device. The principal problem of the current solar antenna is the radiating patch which made of nontransparent material and degrades the total solar efficiency. Therefore, this problem can be solved by using the transparent conductive oxide (TCO) thin film as a radiation patch and the glass as the substrate. A topologie of rectifying circuit has been proposed in the present work and the parametric study has been shown that the efficiency RF/DC conversion can reach 73% for an input power of 10 dBm and a load resistance of 4 kΩ. © 2021 IEEE |
